Hop on the coaches. The Bullone.eu train is on its way! The Bullone.eu is a pilot project, for cooperation in the field of youth aid. It is co-financed by the European Union and supported by a partnership with Traces&Dreams.
Dear guys, mount the carriage
Girls and boys get on the bandwagon. Also restarting with this issue are the pages dedicated to the Bullone.eu pilot project. It is a “little train” that officially started during our Festival dedicated to the Invisibles.
It has the ambition to build the prototype of an online platform in English.
The goal is to use the Bullone model to promote youth inclusion in Europe through the practice of social journalism and develop their digital skills.
Goal: to scroll through the faces and voices of young people in Europe
Through this digital window we would like to run the faces and voices, the hopes and sufferings of young Europeans, especially those who are struggling.
The pilot project was launched in 2023 together with the Swedish association Traces&Dreams, a communications and story telling agency. We collaborate with Pancare, a trans-European group of doctors and nurses dedicated to young people facing cancer and the relatives who care for them.

Reaching out to young people aged 15-30 in Europe: about seventy million, one-third of Europe’s population
We would like to reach young people between the ages of 15 and 30, more than seventy million living in the Old Continent, one third of the Union’s population. Our message, through the Bullone.eu platform, is what we feel is missing in United Europe, which has told itself very often through economic and political conflicts
Europe lacks a bit of heart
The European Union does not tell well about the treasures it has: the solidarity between people, the hopes it arouses, the glimpses of happiness and fun in the meeting of the characteristics of different peoples. We always say how important it is for the peoples of Europe to be part of the Union of 27 countries, but we do not always realize how lucky we are to live in this space where at least attempts are made to ensure democracy, freedom, the welfare state for all and to curb selfishness and hatred. Finns, Poles, Italians, British, French and Spanish and everyone else through the Union often realized that they had more in common than they themselves could admit.
It is not just about the spread of Parmesan and Prosecco across the continent, but about taking note that differences enrich us.
How boring it would be to travel around Europe if we all had the same characteristics and habits!
In this issue of the Bullone, some young people will talk about how their lives, with new friends and new language skills, have changed through Erasmus, the study abroad program that since 1987 has taught millions upon millions of European students to mix with one another during their college education years.
Italy ranks first among Erasmus program countries in the number of people leaving for study and training activities.
Still too few.
Turn the page. The train is leaving.
