Letters to Europe

One banning, the other “sleeping beauty,” researchers saving people. The Bolt wanted to put together three different things that have happened in the past few weeks. So Fiamma Invernizzi wrote a letter to the mayor of New York City who wants to ban social media. Never ban in a city where prohibition was born. Read how many Speakeasy were born: 32 thousand. The second letter is to the President of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen. Why? Because during the Bolt meeting on Europe a little girl of Moroccan origin, born in Italy, kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school in Italy says, “Europe? But I don’t even have Italian citizenship!”

Then we ask Europe not to wait for the decisions of member states, that it recognize European citizenship, sovereign over individual states. The third letter, is from Sarah Kamsu, an amazing B.Liver girl of Cameroonian origin, a scholar and expert on Africa. Sarah in recent weeks underwent a liver transplant. A delicate surgery. Everything went well. And she wants to thank the researchers, the doctors, the nurses, the donor. In short, the chain of expertise and good, which when it acts offers hope. Three letters that deserve the front page, three letters that deserve the opening of the Bolt, which deserves to be read.

Thank you.
